SAFETY
A Leader in Construction Safety &
Earthquake Safety Evaluation
Nothing is more important than the safety and welfare of our Clients, Employees and Associates. In order to help keep job sites as safe as possible, MD Structures, Inc. field crews are required to follow stringent safety guidelines on and off the job site. Clearly defining the scope of work, identifying hazards associated with that work and properly mitigating those hazards prior to initiating work are but a few of the important aspects of our safety and health process.

Earthquake Safety Consulting of Existing
Structures / Earthquake Preparedness
Just as we pay attention to jobsite safety, we focus on the condition of existing structures being able to resist and earthquake. Most buildings are not up to date with building codes and therefore may not be safe enough for the next big earthquake. Most building owners do not realize that updating their structure is a key measure to make their family and building occupants safer. We specialize in reviewing the condition of existing buildings relative to current code requirements and recommending corrective improvements to improve safety during and earthquake.
Project safety inspections are regularly held throughout the course of each of our projects. Job site safety meetings are also regularly held and we insist that our employees and subcontractors abide by all OSHA safety regulations. We regularly look to our Workers’ Compensation insurance carrier for the latest in training tools and support.
Our successful Safety, Injury, Illness & Prevention program is a result of committed participation from a focused, multidisciplined team of staff, subcontractors and suppliers and owner/client representatives, each focused on the safest outcomes. Our goal has always been to provide the safest and healthiest work environments possible.
